View Full Version : Sweed out for Sunday's Steelers game

Wide receiver Limas Sweed did not practice for the second day in a row and will not play Sunday against the Chicago Bears in Soldier Field.
Veteran Shaun McDonald, who did not dress for the season-opening victory against Tennessee, will serve as the No. 4 receiver. McDonald, though, will play in some of the packages as the No. 3 receiver -- a role in Sweed has been rotating with rookie Mike Wallace.Sweed has played little so far this season and now he's out with foot injuries.

What the deal with sweed and how bad is it? any one hear?

Like I said before the more time Sweed misses due to injury the greater chance that Mike Wallace will take Sweed's position as the 3rd wide receiver on this team...

The Doors wide open Wallace. All ya got 2 do is walk through. This might be a good thing. Sweed gets put in the #4 slot it might light a fire under his ace.
