Anthony Davis OT from Rutgers?

Yes him too. I have him right after Sam Young. I added these 3 to the list of tackles. Davis is a kid who might just stay in school and be a top 5 pick in 2011. If he declares for the 2010 draft he's likely a late 1st early 2nd type of guy. He could move up, the season is just starting. He's a little raw and needs some refining before he can be considered too high for the 2010 draft.

Anthony Davis, 6-6, 330, Rutgers*
Bryan Bulaga, 6-6, 305, Iowa*
Adam Ulatoski, 6-8, 310, Texas

I was hoping Black would have came out this past year....He is a personal favorite of mine and Trent Williams was the Sooners best OL last year....Steelers would have to trade up to have a shot at either one.....

Same here, that's how I see it too. I love Okung, but I hope he's not a Steeler. It will take a lot of losses to get him.

unless the steelers **** the bed completely i think as far as tackles go were looking in the range of selvish capers who is a little undersized weight wise, but is pure athlete.

also tony washington in the mid rounds from abilene christian could be beast come draft time...kind of a sleeper

sam young is beast but he has not shot of being a LT and since colon has been badass so far this year i dont think a RT prospect would be the way to go.

other than that you really have to wait to see what juniors declare because they break your heart sometimes.

im gonna toss out a few names of players i like this year

eric berry would be IDEAL, but that wont happen. i wouldnt rule out spikes falling to us, thats a hammer that would replace farrior in the middle from day one. terrance cody is my favorite player in college football but like oher did this year i feel like im in for a heartbreaker there even if he slips. selvish capers is a nice prospect, but i feel like we will continue to ignore the oline...even though the interior is what needs the most work.

george selvie would be a good pick too cause if we cant land a NT were gonna be playing alot more 43 looks.

im just spewing names at this point though...last year this post said tyson jackson, michael oher, rey maualuga, and vontae davis....and we eneded up with ziggy ****ing hood lol

Oh, they're going to draft 10 tight ends next year. They have a fetish about that position. Will sign no name freee agents to play on the line.

This confuses me. Please do explain yourself here.

allen bailey from miami is another guy i wanna watch this season...the man is nothing but pure power. could play DE, DT in both schemes and with hampton moving on i think he will be the perfect kind of guy we would look for to play on the DLine as we will be forced to play a 4 man front alot of the time

I gotta agree with K-Train, Eric Berry would be ideal, due to his versatility. The kid can play any position in the secondary.

I'd probably have a wet dream every night just thinking about the havoc he and Troy Polamalu would wreak on quarterbacks.

I agree Eric Berry would be a great pick so would Taylor Mays the safety from Southern Cal.But i dont think they will be on the board when we pick,i hope one of them are.But theres other S we could look at:Barry Church (Toledo);Bo McNally (Stanford);Morgan Burnett (Georgia Tech);Chad Jones (LSU);Reshad Jones (Georgia);Kam Chancellor (Va Tech);Justin Woodall (Alabama);Major Wright (Florida)...Just to name a few what about going after a DE?? Greg Hardy (Ole Miss);Carlos Dunlap (Florida);Brandon Graham (Michigan);Brandon Lang (Troy);George Selvie (South Florida)..

graham would be an ideal fit, selvie would be a pass rushing specialist or 43 end if we had to switch

Hey whats up, I happen to be the Webmaster of NFLDraftGeek.com, and right now in my latest mock draft I have the Steelers taking Trevard Lidnley Cornerback out of Kentucky, although Ike Taylor has played very well this year he has been around for a while, and Mcfaddens loss I think will end up hurting more in the long run. Also its great value at #26 he came into the season as everybodys top CB but he has had a few injuries and not had the stats you would expect. But he is a great talent, good size and strength and could really end up being a steal, he is a lockdown corner that you would want in the top 10 but because of a lackluster year I have him falling to 26. http://nfldraftgeek.com/mockdraftpart2.html

Also you can forget about Eric Berry anybody who considered that a possibility he is a top 5 lock.

Thanks for the look

I really don't see Steelers going CB in first round. Gay is not playing bad (imo), Taylor is (imo again) having an almost pro-bowl season, and we have both Burnett and Lewis who both looks very promising. I wouldnt mind to go CB in one of the next years, but there are just bigger needs right now.

eric berry is the only DB worth taking in the first, mays i guess has an argument but i wouldnt take him inside the top 20. corners suck this year at the top imo. but berry could easily play corner or saftey and is the best DB prospect ive seen in my lifetime....a legit canidate for #1 overall

Exactly, dont hold your breath on eric Berry, HE WILL NOT BE THERE, you will be picking no earlier than 22 and he is going in the top 5. But I think since the Steelers are so good, you gotta take best available player which in my opinion us Lindley, you can afford to make luxury picks and despite what you say Gay, and Taylor can definitely play better or be upgraded

Oh i know they can be upgraded, but i think we have bigger need, thats all. Id much rather have us go o/d-line, since that is really where we are short. As i said, we have a couple of young CBs who the coaches are really high on.
