Probably won't happen with Antonio Gates still in the conference. Gonzalez leaving boosted his chances though.

I totally agree, Miller better be getting a contract, but they may wait to see if he will be restricted if a new CBA isnt agreed upon. I still think the should sign him for 3-4 more years. Otherwise, even if he is restricted, that only takes care of one more year after this one.

Heath Miller is a solid player but a player that isn't a must to keep in my opinion....He is a solid weapon in the passing game but I think his blocking has been average to poor since his rookie year.....But in the Super Bowl against the I Cards I do think Miller had some very nice blocks....Especially on the Parker run when Willie almost scored.......I think the Steelers should resign Miller but at a reasonable contract....

too bad the pro bowl is a highlight popularity contest and does not focus on what a TE does the vast majority of the time, which is block , or heath would be in i think if you look at overall effectiveness w/ tony and winslow out

Heath can't make it into the Pro Bowl this season....We are going back to the Super Bowl to take home the seventh Lombardi Trophy :tt02::banana:

personally i think that if you take him and put him in jason garretts offense he would do better than jason witten, hes like a house running down the field and catches everything. ive even heard cowboy fans say that you put a guy like him in their offense he would just kill it, we just dont use the TE that much

I really like Heath... His coming out game was the divisional game in January 2006 against Indy... Pitt jumped out to a 14 point lead and won the game!!

He blocks well ( enough) and can catch n run with the ball...
GREAT Character player and person!!!
I want to see him stay a STEELER!!!

I often wonder if they under utilize him to make it easier to use him when they need him (i.e., if they goto the well too often, people will game plan against him, versus just using him when they need the edge)...or it could just be they don't feel comfortable with the rest of the line's blocking.

I just love his ethics. H'es great at what he does and he doesn't complain. A real team player, I hope they use him more this year...Would love to see him in the Pro Bowl or get some kind of recognition!

Pro Bowl is gay and is getting gay'r! Like the post above says, it's not based on talent only who's the most popular!

Heath Miller demolishes zone defenses like it's nothing at all.
