I know when you think steelers qb the names that pop up automaticly are Terry Bradshaw and now Big Ben as being the elite franchise qbs but besides those two who was your favorite steeler to step under center? Also I know its way to early to tell cuz he is still young and is guna win us a hell of a lot more games and hoping superbowls but where do you think the qb situation goes when Big Ben is done? I mean he was a steal in draft that year. Yea Eli Manning and Phlip Rivers were in that draft but Big Ben has been more sucessful then both them. Just wondering.

For me id have say Kordell Stewart never took us to superbowl but the only person to take us and lose was O Donnell.

So whats your guys take?

Bradshaw of course. "Jefferson Street" Joe Gilliam and Terry Hanratty(sp?) and last but not least Big Ben.

Bubby Brister!

Actually a pretty decent QB in the end just played on a poor offence with his time with us.

I've been around long enough to see:
Jefferson street Joe, Bradshaw, Terry Hanratty, Cliff "$hit" Stoudt, "Off the Mark" Malone, Woodley, Bubby "I'm da man" Brister, Scott Campbell, Neil" chokin' in da Big Game" Odonnell, Tomzak, Kordell, Graham, Maddox, and Big Ben...
I always thought that Scott Campbell, as a rookie, started one game and played relief in a few others in the 86 season (I believe) I thought he looked good and wondered why he was traded after 4 games and did nothing in Atlanta..
Kordell should have stayed at WR, he'd been stellar!
I will choose Scott Campbell!

My favorite is "Slash", he was my favorite player growing up. I will always be proud to say that I'm a fan of Kordell Stewart.

I agree with that in sense but Big Ben took us over hump we were in after goin to afc championship time after time now being able get back bowl after dat loss to cowgirls. At one point i though cowlher was guna retire without ring.

Big Ben will go down as da best I think. He still young already done so much. Not knocking Terry cause wat he did in 70s was amazing

Bobby Layne led the Detroit Lions to 3 NFL Championships, but he got injured one game.So Detroit traded him to the Steelers.Legend says,as he got on the plane,he shouted,"the Lions will not win for 50 years." and still after 50 years, Lions 0-16 The Steelers, Superbowl number 6. Thus, THE CURSE OF BOBBY LAYNE!!,One of the most colorful QB's to wear the Black and Gold .LOL

Here is a QB that is in the HOF, but never realy played for PITT.
Everyone knows him since he was drafted by Pitt but cut him to save money...
How expensive do you think Johnny Unitas was compared to what they would or could have done if they kept him?!!

Terry is my man. I have an autographed football from him.

I like slash to but he was a better receiver than quarterback.
