View Full Version : I gave Them a "B+," Until the Final Pick...

Plus, there were better TEs on the board (Dan Gronkowski from Maryland).

But with Isdaner, Trevor Canfield, Cadogan, Bright from BYU available, there were plenty O-linemen to choose from, which I still think is a need area.

The Steelers grade drops to a "B," which could improve based on some quality FA signings.

I'll add a list of desirable FAs, once I see who is left on the board.

I'm not high on PSU players, but--with luck--Shipley develop like Mike Webster.

(Can we get a "Mulligan" for our last pick in Rd 7. TE who are 6'1" and can't block are not hot properties. See reviews on this kid.)

One other comment.

The Steelers must like their O-Line a lot more than most of us!!

At this moment right now, I give them a preemptive D.

D...the only pick that saved it from and epic fail was wallace...maybe burnett since he was the only player to be ranked in the top 10 of both PR and KR...so i mean after 2 days we have 2 potentially solid returners and spent our first rounder on a career wedge buster.....sweet ST draft

Evander was probably their best pick this year, followed by Burnett and Urbik. The rest are OK to WTF

You don't like the short yardage/fullback in Summers? Now we can cut Davis since he is a waste anyway and allow Summers to take over the FB spot.

Summers can run/catch/block...

summers is dominating

against high school kids

you really wont notice much a difference between him and davis....if summers can make the team

I'm not much of a college player guru so to judge this draft at this point may be a bit immature. But I still think Mike Tomlin is a F*ck'n Idiot. lol

Tomlin doesn't make the picks, its Colbert.

As K Train said, he is basically Cary Davis except not good on ST coverage.

when there was first talks about davis taking krieders job they said they loved davis' ability to catch and run but above all they loved how he lead blocks.....this is v2.0 of that

Colbert and Phil Savage must be related.....

I'm sure Summers be a good fit on the practice squad for 3 months.

If you want to hear an intelligent young man, listen to the telephone interview with Frank "The Tank" Summers, on the Steelers website.
