Strength of schedule means nothing in the NFL.

steelers just won the superbowl and now have the 28th easiest schedule in the NFL. browns only have the 25th easiest. I guess thats what happens when your owner is all over the new president.

LOL j/k. But that is kinda weird.

Last years schedule showed SOS means nothing and is purely coincidental. However, having my choice, I would rather go in think we had a tougher schedule......

Last years schedule showed SOS means nothing and is purely coincidental. However, having my choice, I would rather go in think we had a tougher schedule...... I have a feeling this years will be just as tough if we dont fix that OL/Run game. I really dont want to have another 5 years knocked off my life because of Ben running around trying to keep from getting KO'd.....

The whole "strength of schedule" thing is bullshit. People put too much into it.

Too many dynamics change from year to year now on every team to make an assumption on how well one thinks they'll do this year based on how they performed last year against opponents who have also change considerably from year to year .

A favorable regular season does not mean a thing. The Steelers will still have to go out every week and win the games. And once the playoffs start regular season records become obsolete, everyone in the playoffs has a clean slate.

Strength of schedule is just a rough estimate at the beginning of the season at the difficulty of the impending season. The teams' improvement/regression is too fluid to accurately determine how well it will do for that season.

I thought last year that Pitt would only get 10 wins AT BEST!!
Considering how well they played last year, the loss of Leftwich,McFadden, Washington Pitt could go 11 wins maybe 12 but injuries didn't hurt too badly last year thanks to Gay, Moore, Leftwich and keeping Starks. (which I thought was a terrible idea and was wrong)
With last years draft being redshirted due to learning curve of NFL and injuries, They could help this year and I hope a more than subtle inmprovemet to OL...
Draft OL, DE Gilbert, and CB DJ Clark
Pitt should do about the same (Superbowl 44?!)

On a personal Note:
I DESPISE Iron City South's picture of "Obama 08" and his hypocrital quote... He is doing EXACTLY what he claims we cannot do. He is borrowing and spending out the A$$!! generational theft of our decendants future!
He keeps blaming Bush for our situation, But HE WAS PART OF THE VERY SAME CONGRESS THAT APPROVED/PASSED THOSE POLICIES THAT WERE IMPLEMENTED!!!

I did not vote for this LIBERAL DEMOCRAT (I'm independent)
I have continued DOUBTS about his country/location of birth (I DON'T believe he is a natural born citizen)
I do not support him, I do not recognize him as my President!! I DEPISE HIM ALMOST AS MUCH AS THE FORMER 1ST FELON SLICK WILLIE BILLY CLINTON ( yes, he commited perjury, a FELONY and should have resigned in disgrace!!!!
The great thing about this country, I can say the things that make your blood boil and you can do the same...
It is called FREE SPEECH: GUARENTEED BY OUR CONSTITUTION!!!
GOD BLESS THE USA!!
until obama and hillary run it into the ground!

Obama and Clinton are actually intelligent human beings. Bush not so much. End of story.
