Updating a previous report, KDKA.com reports the Pittsburgh Steelers are close to a contact extension with LB James Harrison that is believed to be worth around $45 million, according to KDKA's Bob Pompeani. The length of the contract is not known.

I'd like to see Harrison get this extension, he proved he is worth the money. Unfortunately, at his age, He'll only play about 5 more years at a high level before age and wear and tear takes over....
I think he's a great player and I hope he can continue to show that hard work and determination will get you what you want and desire!!
