Hey there,
What does anybody think about Pitt signing Wr R Curry to play for the Black and Gold
used to be a pretty good speed guy and now since he would have a pretty good QB throwing to him, I think he would be a really good asset to play here..
Give me your opinions people

Oakland, Where players' careers go to die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus. Really? Are we going to go through this for every mediocre player that becomes available. He is a decent receiver that will command too much money. Nothing special about him at all.

At this point it all depends on how much of a chance they think they will have to bring back Nate. With them already talking to Harrison's agent and franchising Starks it's obvious those are 2 priorities for this team right now. I have a feeling Nate is going to want a ton of money which somebody will pay him, probably not us.

I wouldn't "hate" if they signed curry either but I don't think it will happen if he wants the overpriced money somebody will give him.

The Steelers really don't need him. If Nate leaves it's time for Sweed to pick it up. Dallas Baker hasn't been kept around for nothing. One of those 2 should make a good #3 rec.

I don't think we need him, the Steelers have a very solid group of wide recievers already.

No, just re-sign Nate

As most of you know by now, Steelers will not be re-signing Nate. And for those of you saying Curry will cost too much, no he won't. At least he shouldn't. He and Bryant Johnson are available. Both are big guys and were on bad teams..with bad QB's. I would take either of them at a cheap price.

and give Nate at least 4 mil a year? He could possibly make even more, depending on what moron owner decides to give it to him. I'll pass.

I wouldn't touch a guy that has been so injury prone throughout his career.

Keeping Nate would be an ideal situation but not at 4 mill. a year or anything even close to that. Yes the guy has made some big plays, he's fast as hell, and has come a long way but if he's getting 4 million a year it won't be from us. Maybe 3 mill a year but regardless somebody will give it to him if we don't.
