I couldn't find the thread. but I said at the beginning of the season that No One was going to return a kick off or punt on us, and look what happened. No One got past our special teams all year. I think there was the one in pre-season, but thats it. finally I got one right....Our special teams was huge this year. Best I think we have ever had.

Think of how good they would have been with a punter. :yesnod:

I was ready to give up our ST for dead after last year and really since SB XL. This year though the coverage units have been outstanding and have made countless big plays for us. If we can get a solid kick returner to compliment Holmes punt returning we'll be even better.

The coverage units were damn good.......Like you said Dean for this unit to not give a TD on either punt or kickoff is a huge improvement....Plus overall they really limited big returns for the most part.....Sepulveda should be a big help next year.....

Special Teams coach Bob Ligashesky should get major props for a much improved punt and kickoff return coverage.

The special teams coverage could always be counted on to rear its ugly head for a long return or a return for a TD the past several seasons..........not this year though.

Great job!!

]Its all i had to cling to all year. Every game when it looked like someone was going to break one I just about **** myself. Then in that SB when whats his nuts almost got away I was about to cry, and the thought of losing came into my mind. but then we stuck his candy ***...lol

I did expect to b*tch about the ST coach again, but they played much better for most of the season.

I did NOT expect to b*tch about the OC this year, but I did, and thankfully, the playoffs were much more of what I expected for the regular season.

And we all knew that our O line needed help, and now the NFL knows it too, but hey, can't complain now, because that was a heckuva game and Trophy #6 looks just as good as the first 5.
