View Full Version : Maybe we should be doing the no huddle more now ?

It's obvious that our conventional offense isn't doing the job this year and the team is in complete collapse mode at this point. Ben is getting killed and making mistakes out the wazoo, we have no consistent running game. Why not try the no huddle more often, start out the game quickly and score points, then slow it down in the 2nd half if we have the lead the lead and run out the clock. You wear the defense out by keeping the pace up and not allowing substitutions and then you can pound them. Of course this is all predicated on actually having an OL that can block and a running game that chew some clock when need be...and we don't have either one of these right now.

At this point that may not even work, but what do we have to lose.

Don't mind me, Im just thorougly pissed off at this entire season.. :banging:

Dude I don't think it matters at this point. But I will say this. I think alot of the younger players should start getting some playing time. I think Rian Wallace, Anthony Smith,Trai Essex, Chris Kemoeatu should get some serious playing time.

Yea I know. All I know it really sucks being 2-5. Hey want to get a thread going about the NFL draft. I think its time to start talking NFL draft for the Steelers.

At this rate it would be a top ten pick.

Isn't that just pathetic... the defending super bowl champs and we're talking about a high draft pick. What this team has done is truely pathetic.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Remember what those dam pats did. If we got to have one down year. Then climb back to the top of the mountain for a few seasons. I can accept that.

Dude thats what I'm hoping that this team responds like those 2003 Pats after the 2002 Pats missed the playoffs. The Steelers have enough talent to rebound in 2007 thats for sure.

No one saw this coming. I'm just trying to stay positive. We just seem to have nothing go right for us. It will turn around.
