The Parade in 2006 was a safety issue but it seems to me they could carefully plan it and do it a little differently. The fans should have a celebration put on by the city for the fans........well, unless they have no money. It was great last time, just an awesome experience.

I would hope they will change their mind and just organise it properly. How hard can it be? It is not like they have not done it before, maybe they just need to make sure they have enough time to organise it.

Come on do really believe if the Steelers win there isn't going to be a parade in Pittsburgh to celebrate the win?.....If the Steelers win there will be a parade.......

If there is no parade, I'm sure they will make it up for it somehow, I would hope anyway...:dunno:

Honestly if we do win there's no way the city won't do something for the team. The fans love it, the players love it, even if they have some type of celebration at Heinz field and then just broadcast on TV it's atleast something. Guaranteed if we win I will be there for the celebration.

Lets win 1st, then we will worry about the parade

Of course but those of us who will travel in from out of town need to plan a little before hand! :)

I agree that the game needs to be won first but to come out and say there wont be any kind of recoginition from the city beforehand is like telling a child at X-mas time that Santa might not be coming this year.....and if he does come there's a good chance he wont be leaving any presents.

Bottom line is "F" the parade.........a Steeler Superbowl Victory is the only thing that matters!!

After we win, and if they feel that cant do a parade, then open up Heinz field for the celebration.

Exactly!~ the city will recognize the win with a huge celebration; but let's win first.
