New fan from Florida

New to SA as of last night. What a game! I have been a Steeler fan for many years and oddly enough I even remember where I was and the exact date it all started. I was at the St. James Methodist Church in Palatka watching Super Bowl VIII Jan. 21, 1979. The Steelers whipped up on Dallas 21-17. I've never even been to Pittsburgh, but I have had love for them ever since. I have been fortunate enough to watch them play live against the Jagwads every time they are in town. I was also fortunate when the Steelers quite a few years ago, signed John L. Williams FB to a 2 yr contract as he is from my home town of Palatka. I actually got a ball signed by the Super Bowl XXX team at a charity auction John L. held. Anyway, this looked to be a great site so I thought I'd join to meet some fellow addicts. Thanx for havin me!!
