Yeah they were saying Crennel is all but done and tomorrow's meeting is just a formality. To his credit he is a nice guy, and he knows defenses but he just couldn't overcome the injuries and constant underachieving that his players displayed week in and week out over the last few years.

I talked with some cleveland fans that believe the ownership here needs to go. They actually listen to the fans way too much. The browns should have hired a young coach, it makes no sense to hire an older guy to rebuild.

Just heard that myself. Was he treated fairly? I knew they were going to be bad, I siad it over and over, in the preseason. They beat nobody last year. Thier O-line is bad, thier best wr, is way over rated, and thier second receiver, Donte Stalworth is over rated. Winslow is injury prone. The defense is horrible every where. They went to a 3-4 and only had one descent LB

The early word is that the Browns are eyeing Patriots GM-Scott Pioli.....and that he would bring Pats O-Coordinator Josh McDaniels as the new Head coach!!

Yeah!! go back and dip into the Patriots well again.
Look at the Pats assistant coaches track records.......Mangini-Fired.......Romeo did "Squat" for you......and Charlie Weiss is hanging on at Notre Dame by one of the hairs of his dopey looking haircut.

Pioli is a major step up from Savage. Not sure how McDaniels will work out.
