A trip to Cincinnati is the reason for this poem
Where a rumble in the jungle looked more like a home away from home

This game wouldn’t be easy although it looked like it at the start
And each and every Steeler would have to do their part

Right from the beginning Hines laid a block on a defender
Unfortunately, a jaw breaker, and a Bengal’s season ender

Some say Hines is dirty but that’s not even true
He takes a hit as hard as he gives and then gets up smiling at you

The game continued on with five consecutive Bengal punts
And it was a game where Ben didn’t get intercepted even once

This was between the Steelers, the Bengals, and a referee
And some more really bad judgment by Ed Hochuli

Other teams might cringe when they hear that name
Thank goodness for us, he didn’t cost us a game

In the first half, we let the Bengals hang around
But we continued to run the ball on the ground

Mewelde Moore was a one man wrecking crew
I can’t wait to see what he and Parker together can do

I must also give some props to Nate
That 50 yard TD catch was something great

Our D-line is outstanding - that goes without saying
And I love the way this whole team has been playing

We’re ahead in our division - we’ve created a little buffer
But we must keep our focus - the season is about to get tougher

It all starts Sunday with the Giants and Plaxico is back
Pick off a ball thrown his way and get Eli with a sack!
