When I saw "old school" in the title I thought you were talking about like Hulk Hogan, the Ultimate Warrior, Junk Yard Dog and Rowdy Roddy Piper!!

But then again it has changed so much lately the Rock and Stone Cold are old school now ;)

Yes they are. Sorry about that AZ. I know what you must have been thinking when I posted that. I've seen the "real" old school guys before. The ones even before Hogan and them. But to me Stone Cold and The Rock really brought wrestling to it highest point. It still does well but not near the level it was before both of them left and the WWF bought out the other brands.

The Rock and Stone Cold definitely had some classic matches though... you're right they are responsible for the success WWE has had and really put wrestling on the map.

For Wrestle Mania III Hogan vs Andre the Giant... I got to go down to Wheeling WV to some theater where they were showing WM III live on the big screen, it was Awesome!!! That was the first time the Giant had ever been body slammed!

I remember that! That was amazing even to this day. The only thing I have seen better than that is John Cena slamming the Big Show twice!!!!

Legion of Doom was one of my favorite tag teams in the WWF in the 80s and early 90s.

Hegstrand died on October 19, 2003 in the early morning in his home in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida at the age of 46. His friends said that he and his wife Dale had recently bought a condominium near their current home and were packing their boxes the night before. Hegstrand said that he felt tired and went to take a nap. When his wife checked on him at about 1 A.M., he had died of an apparent heart attack. He had battles with alcohol and drugs throughout his career and was an admitted steroids user. At the time of his death, Hawk and Animal were working on a book entitled, "Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuaaaaaaah O Whhhhhat a Ruuuuuush." After the book was completed, Road Warrior dedicated the book to his late partner and childhood friend.

they were one hell of a tag team, damn i miss the old days lol

You know what's weird... I just read an article about these guys today in SportingNews Magazine! The Animals son is the linebacker for The Ohio State Buckeyes, #33!! Thought it was interesting :dunno:

They had another name besides the Road Warriors, it was in the article too but I must be getting old because I don't remember :)
