Agree - NO

When Ben is on he is on and IMO is one of the best, but it's those off games that make you wonder....

Well the ones ahead of him are pretty dang good and even IMO so you the list can go as, 1a, 1b, 1c and so on.
As for Salisbury, a career back-up with less than average qb skills..........who gives a ***k on what he thinks.

Nice to see that Brady is not on the list.

How the hell do they have Aaron Rodgers ahead of Big Ben....Dude is still a big ?. Big Ben already has a SB ring and has been to the Pro-Bowl. Not saying Rodgers isn't gonna be any good..but to be put ahead of Ben is craziness.

Is this list based on how well they are playing now, or is this a list of who he thinks the best in the league is starting with Mcnabb?

It must be how they are playing now, and if so, I cant argue. Ben has not thrown that many passes this year. But when you talk about the best in the league I wouldn't put any one of those guys ahead of Ben that are sitting there in front of him now. Mcnabb showed his salt in that Superbowl, and he's always hurt so there is no way I want that guy on my team. He lacks the mental toughness that comes with the QB position. A lot of you might not agree with me, but thats how I see Mcnabb. Duribilty is part of what makes players great. Do you think Emmitt Smith would have been where is is today without that? Dont get me started on Romo. Dude could be the most over-rated player in the game. I do like Cutler though. I think him and Ben are the future of this league

I think he's ranking the QB's on their performance thus far this season. Seriously, Ben hasn't done a whole lot in the first three game so frankly I am surprised he is ranked so high right now. :dunno: Looking at potential though Ben should be higher, but IMO based on stats right now and what these guys have done at the QB spot he might be a little high...

Anyone who says Ben Roethlisberger is anywhere below the top 3 active QBs right now is an idiot.

Looking at Bens intangibles and potential he definitely near or in the Top 3 for active QB's but looking at what he has done this year so far I don't think he is Top 3 right now. He's managed games and has done what has needed to be done to win the games they have won.

Cant argue with that. We know, and so does everyone else that Ben is top of the heep, but you are only as good as your last game. Unless your Brett Farve you need to be good week in and out. No one is going to say Ben is playing bad because of a crappy OL.

His list isn`t so bad, its like golf you could have the third best score, and come in tenth place with all the ties. The top 8 are all close, Ben is hurt by our run first, and his numbers are lower than the rest. Thanks to our line and play calling he could drop

Let's rank the quarterbacks in the NFL after the first three weeks. This is not a career ranking. This is just who I would choose by the way they are playing after the three weeks. I don't care who potentially might be the best or who had a great 2007. I care about the “right now.” I want who is playing the best or who is finding ways to win. I will leave out Tom Brady (http://www.opensports.com/football/nfl/player/profile/533)off, along with any QB who is hurt or benched.

Like Salisbury said, he's ranking them so far this season. Not a big fan of his but the list is pretty good.

Why is this even on here? Before the season EVERYONE including this idiot Salisbury had Ben at #3 behind only Peyton and Brady. Why dos anyone even listen to this no-talent ***-clown-never-was?
