They literally came out of nowwhere to soar to the top ! THere has to be somekind of bot or hacking going on. Now it's up to Campbell's to do what's right, for this contest to have any credibility. Everyone knows there are going to be repeat votes ,the whole clearing your cookies and cache thing, but the Hackers have to be doing something more extreme for the numbers they are putting up. I've always come into this contest towards the end before and were surprised to see them win, but this year after getting an earlier start and watching them come out of nowhere, you just lose all respect. I'll get off the soapbox now... who's next??

Green Bay has 8 times the amount of votes than the population of their city. And that includes old people and babies who don't vote and then anyone who isn't a football fan. So it's probably 40 times the amount of actual voters. And not every votes every single day.
My point is that someone found a way to cheat the system. Nothing to do now though, the Campbell's people don't seem to give a damn.

When I began my email (which I can not fiond in my sent mail because I did not save it) I told them that I was a customer of their fine company and that I ate Campbell's Chunky Soup everyday for lunch, etc, etc, etc. Then I added I was a Steeler fan and concerned about the contest they are holding as it appears to almost be unfair, etc, etc, etc

Now I have a great idea, how about all of us email the company and get free soup. Even if you don't like it or want it, I mean after all how much free soup can they give out? As an effort to assist the Buckeye PackerBackers -- Have pushed the call for support on up the chain... all the way to the three main Packer Team News web sites ----
1 - Packer Report
2 - JS Online/Packer
3 - PackersNews
Here's the letter I wrote and included as many Packer Fan Club President email addresses as were available.......
================================================== =======
To - Chris Havel, Todd Korth & Bob McGinn ----
Guys --
All of the known (online) Packer Fan Clubs are out there working their proverbial Cheeseheads off in a bid to re-take the lead on the Chunky Soup "Click for Cans" contest.
Currently, Chunky.com shows the Packers in THIRD place.
We're asking that all of you make mention on your web sites about Chunky Soup and what is, by tradition, always a Packer WIN.
Year in, and year out, the Packerfans always win this very charitable contest by "lambeau leaps". We're talking thoudsands of votes.
But, this year, the Steelerfans have organized a cohesive attack on Green Bay's "Yearly Trophy".
Even the Packers website managers appear to have relegated this yearly event to something less than important.
The Packer Fan Club presidents are out there drumming up the support.
But getting some help from the Packer-related news websites can only be a plus.
Help out some Cheeseheads and in turn some very needy people.
What do you say guys? Do you have some cyber-ink for Chunky Soup and the Packer fans who always win?
At the very least, I would ask you to call your contacts at Lambeau Field and get them to update their website with a better focus on this yearly charity drive.
I would think that Bob Harlan and John Jones would be all for it. But, it's somewhat difficult for regular fans to reach the Mgmt types up at Lambeau.
Anything you can do is truly appreciated.
--
Thanks,
IPBprez
