Fear not ....

If any team in the league has experience playing on a pothhole ridden kitty litter pig slop field, it's the Pittsburgh "fu<king" Steelers!

Nothing could be worse than that Miami game last year.

couldn't have said it better myself ICS, after playing in the Swamp every year and in a Hurricane a couple years ago in Miami it doesn't much matter to us.

We seem to have a jinx when we play Miami anymore  a couple years ago it was the hurricane and then it was the mud bowl

One thing about Pittsburgh, we never make excuses for weather, or injuries or anything else. when we beat you we beat you no matter who is in the game or what the weather is, period!

unlike SOME other teams....

The wind has kicked up in the past 15 minutes.

Who does the bad weather benefit? Or does it make it more equal?

The brownies stars are wr and Te, so I say no benefit to them

I just posted this sameanswer in the gameday thread

They are a VERTICAL passing team where as we throw more crossing/lateral routes. Plus i dont see them having success in any form if they are to be one dimensional on offense. If the wind is affecting the passing game that badly, do you really think the can lean on lewis (who is hampered by a hamstring injury) to try and run on us all game!?!?

On the other hand, when we shut down the run tonight, DA wont be able to stand in the pocket and throw on us if we're getting pressure like last week!!! I really think in a game where weather can play a part, it plays into our hands!!!

I would say Jeff Reed definitely benefited from Mr. Hurricane Ike..he had the best kickoffs of his career !!

That wind though was crazy tonight for sure, we used it to our advantage in the 1st and 3rd quarters

I was able to watch the entire game, half at my sister in laws, half at home. My biggest problem was we also lost water.So.....

lost power + lost water = won game Thats all that matters.

it really got bad up there... my parents power went off some time before the game last night .. and it's still off. They're in northern trumbull county in OH, and running on a generator. Mom said it could be thursday before they get power! They watched the game on a tiny personal tv ... LOL
