Derrick Frost joined the Redskins in 2005 and has served as Washington's primary punter for the last three seasons. Frost also served as the holder on field goals for the Redskins and he has periodically served as a kickoff specialist. In his career, Frost has had 317 punts for a 41.1-yard average, with 97 placed inside the 20-yard line. His career long is 64 yards. In 2004, Frost made his NFL debut as a punter for the Cleveland Browns.
