It is a 7 game series, Lyn, so whom ever wins 4 games first goes on to represent the American League in the World Series and the American League has the home field advantage, meaning, the First two games are at the home stadium, the next 2 are at the NL home, Game 5 at AL, Game 6 at NL, and Game 7 is at the AL home.

So the tigers have to win 3 more games? 3 more from last night let's keep this simple.:)

Yes, Lyn. It is a 7 games series, so the first to 4 wins advances to the World Series. Hopefully it would be the Tigers. I like to see Leyland win a WS title.

You are correct, if its tied at 3 games a piece, Game 7 is in Detroit, someone has to win it in order to go to the World Series.

It is looking more and more like the odds are in the favor of the Tigers to sweep the As at home for Four Straight Wins and on the road to the World Series, I want Jim Leyland to win another WS.
