This all but paves the way for Dalls Baker to grab that final WR spot; or atleast definitely increases his chances of it being available if he continues to work out and play well in camp.

Does anyone know anything about this guy (Paul Ernster)?

Yes, he's 6'9 315lbs. ...runs a 4.6 and can boom kicks over 80 yards consistently in addition to posessing the ability to make his punts stop on a dime at the 1 yard line. He was a Nobel Peace Prize winner in 2004, founded General Motors, he's bullet proof, can leap tall buildings in a single bound, irons his own clothes, and considers Sunday's a day for faith, booze and football.

In his last significant playing time - 2006, he played 16 games for Denver - 41.7 gross/ 36.3 net on 80 punts.

Sepulvada had 42.4 gross/ 37.9 net last year on 68 punts. So leg strength doesn't look much different from the stats. (Assuming Ernster is in shape)

Where we will miss Sepulvada most is at mid-field. He does a much better job of getting kicks down inside the 20.

but dsep can ****ing boom it, he didnt have to alot last year cause he was always putting them inside the 10...his pound for pound leg strength is way better than most punters, especially ernster lol

Gaurenteed the Steelers call up "he who shall not be blocked" to see if he can come in and challenge this stiff from Detriot.

A good chance that "he who shall not be blocked" is once again a Steeler.
