Harrison was carted off, as soon as someone gets an update on his condition, post it here. It happened on a ST coverage play. Looked to be something with his left ankle or foot maybe.

Just heard his return is questionable for tonight..so far doesn't seem too serious.

Yeah definitly something from the knee or below on that leg. It is possible that it's just precautionary but it could also be just a s serious. Where are those dumb sideline reporters with an update when you need one?

EDIT: TG beat me :)

He had a high ankle sprain last year that affected him, hopefully its not as bad as that one was.

Reid went out of the game too. Ugh, his first game for us and he gets injured. As it stands now he's questionable to return tonight.

Hopefully he'll be good to go,and its nothing serious.

By Ed Bouchette, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

SAN DIEGO -- The Steelers not only lost the game last night, but they lost the services of two players, perhaps for a while.

James Harrison, their top backup at outside linebacker, and return man Willie Reid each were injured in the first half. Harrison has a high ankle sprain and Reid has a midfoot sprain. Coach Bill Cowher said both injuries could be "significant."

Reid dressed for his first NFL game after Cowher made him inactive for the first three of the season. Cowher instead dressed five safeties for those first three games; last night, he opted to dress just four, leaving out Mike Logan. The Steelers do not use more than three safeties in any of their passing defenses.

According to Ed Bouchette: Reid is a mild foot sprain and doubtful for this week but he should play next week. Harrison is out for this week and could miss a total of a couple games in all.

I hope Reid is ok! I like what I saw from him last night and he shows some great promise for the Steelers in the weeks to come. I wonder if Ricardo's neck is all healed up to the point he can return punts next week ;)

Holmes is going to be returning all the punts until Reid comes back accoridng to BC in his press conference.
