Visits are over and here is who we had in.

(Figured we needed something to talk about since there hasnt been a new topic in a couple of days and the draft is inching close and closer and closer.)

Branden Albert
Gosder Cherilus
James Hardy
Kendall Langford
Malcolm Kelly
Jerod Mayo
Quentin Groves
Jonathan Stewart
Aqib Talib
Cliff Avril
Mike Jenkins
Jerome Simpson
Justin King
Dre Moore
Chris Johnson
Shawn Crable
Jehuu Caulcrick
Red Bryant
Brandon McAnderson
Jason Jones
Philip Wheeler
Mario Urrutia
Orlando Scandrick
Ryan Mundy
Tracy Porter
Bryan Smith
Matthew Slater
Dennis Dixon
Keilen Dykes

Tryed to keep the people that matter towards the top. Anyway we really cant go wrong at 23. Groves or Cherilus, I think the Steelers will end up saying one of these two names on D day. But we really cant go wrong with Talib or Stewart ether.

I'm really liking Aqib Talib (http://kuathletics.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/talib_aqib00.html) he tall for a corner so can line up against someone like a Moss. At the combine he was the Top Performer In: Vertical jump, Broad jump, 3-cone drill (Combine Info (http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/aqib-talib?id=1302))

At 6'2" and a huge vertical not much will get by him! :bigthumb:

I would be so pissed off if they went Talib or Cherilus.

Dennins Dixon is Intriguing.

Dennis Dixon is coming off a severe knee injury! I really don't think he's worth even looking at. I think a lot of people still feel that the only way the Steelers can win is with a converted QB to WR to run the trick plays :dunno: which is where I would disagree

ARE was our main guy for that. Actually between Hines, Heath, and Santonio who all played QB at one time or another we've got plenty of guys who can run trick plays in those situations so yeah I'd agree with you on that one.

I dont know about Talib... I love him then I hate him on different film clips. I think he is too much of a project for a number 1 pick. The Jordy Nelson clip frustrates me because Nelson only ran 4.5 something and he not only breaks away after the catch, but Talib gives up.... BUT on other clips he looks very promissing. I just rather have a Groves or a Cherilus were you would see an impact right from day one.

Im starting to think like you. I've been watching some video of Talib the last couple of days and Im very impressed. Our team could use a big Corner like him. This kid has playmaking ability.
I love his height and he a playmaker would match up nicely against big NFL Wideouts.
Two things. His off the field conduct is a concern. Plus he's not real Physical.

I suspect the Steelers are looking at Aqib Talib as a safety. He could be this years Tanard Jackson.
