Are there any road closed for FanFest like there would be for a game???

BlitzburghRockCity
03-23-2008, 09:41 PM
Not that I know of, the fan blitz is held right at the stadium and while there's usually a great turnout it's not usually overwhelming like the games are. You have to stand in line for autographs of course but other than that you can move around the stadium and stuff without too much hassle. I don't think they close any roads, atleast they never did when I was there.

None that I know of either. They might close off Art Rooney Ave. But that's about it.

Righ accross from PNC Park is a Spring Hill Suites Hotel. Or walk accross the bridge tio the Hilton by Point tate Park. Click on my map in earlier post, and where you see Red Lot 6, there is a hotlel in that lot.

I think we're probably going to come up late on friday night and stay in a hotel to be there when it starts saturday morning. We were thinking of coming up early saturday morning and staying over saturday night, just depends on the baby sitter situation right now.

See what the majority of folks want to do and maybe we can all get reservations at the same place to carry on the PARTY or start the party if it is Friday :cope:

BlitzburghRockCity

Yeah we'll be there all day Deb, the actual fan blitz event doesn't start until 1pm EST anyways and runs till 7. The tailgate will start earlier than that but yeah we'll be there when you get there.

My wife and I will be probably staying in Monroeville I would think, that's where we usually stay. It's a nice easy on/off from the turnpike.

Are we just buying tickets at the gate that day for the Bucs game?

susielr

where is that?

It is north of Pittsburgh. Straight up north route 28 from the city...you run right into it. The address of the mall is Tarentum which is the township I live in so it is almost in my backyard..lol. Nice one story mall and some nice restaurants and other stores around it. It is pretty new..I would say 4 to 5 years old I think.

I may be out for this weekend, something is wrong with the truck, the wife just told me alittle bit ago. I think it's the fuel pump but Im not 100% sure. If it is that's going to tie us up with the repairs to that :cursin: It's getting looked at tomorrow or friday morning to find out what the deal is so I won't know for sure till the last minute if we can make it or not. Depends on how much the costs will be and how long they will have it. :crossfingers: :banging:

BlitzburghRockCity
04-24-2008, 08:20 PM
Sorry there's no Eagles smilies on here man  I'll drop you an email tomorrow and let you know the 411 on the truck. It's not so much not having a vehicle to go since we have the car too but it's the cost involved to fix the truck that is eating up or fun time budget. :cursin: Damn vehicles, why can't we all just ride horses !!! ;)

McNabbulous5
04-24-2008, 08:30 PM
