Anyone seen this guy play at MSU? Hes 6' 255 lbs and runs a 4.6 40. Not sayin I want this guy but he would be a damn good change of pace to FWP. Or even line him up with FWP in the backfield and let the D wonder who's gettin the ball. Projected 5th rounder.
Overview:
Caulcrick has been a 4 year player at Michigan State has came on most as a senior. Jehuu led the NCAA for much of the season with touchdowns. A native of Liberia, came to New Jersey, then to Michigan State. Plays a lot like Jerome Bettis, but will most likely be a fullback at the next level.
Strengths:
Size to speed to power ratio. Has the size of a fullback but the speed of a running back. Is a classic battering ram and is a perfect go to guy within the 5 yard line. Almost never looses yards, always falls forward. Has big play ability and can outrun some defensive backs. A touchdown machine. May just be scratching his potential.
Weaknesses:
Is a little one-dimensional. Isn't a big threat to catch and go. May be a bit of tweener without a real position. Has been a bit of an underacheiver, mainly due to John L. Smith's spread offense.
Projection:
Depending on how teams want to use him, will determine where he goes in the draft. He can be a situational running back, fullback, or both. Could be an early to mid 2nd day guy.
