lol, and teemont just brought him up in another thread saying we should have kept him

So when will we know when he is signed?

It's a good thing he was still around for us to bring back in, hopefully he officially signs a deal. At this point any able body who can play Tackle is an option for us..LOL.

But is he still a head case?

I thought he was a better option at LT behind Marvel than anybody else we had. If he comes in and performs well he may cement a spot on the roster for next year. This is good news!

Steelers replace injured Starks, Kriewaldt on roster
Wednesday, January 02, 2008
By Gerry Dulac, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
The Steelers have placed tackle Max Starks and linebacker Clint Kriewaldt on the season-ending injured reserve list and signed former Pitt and IUP tackle Jason Capizzi to their 53-man roster.
Also, the Steelers promoted offensive lineman Jeremy Parquet from their practice squad to the active roster for Saturday's wild-card playoff game against the Jacknsoville Jaguars.
To replace Parquet, the Steelers signed wide receiver Jeremy Bloom to the practice squad. Bloom, a fifth-round draft choice of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2006, is a former Olympic skier and fashion model.
Teemont should be happy now. :helmet:

Never a good sign that we're pulling bodies in off the street for post-season depth.
Especially bodies from IUP .....that mecca of NFL caliber OL talent!

By the end of this season we won't know half the people on our roster

Atleast with all these injuries we're getting to see the backups getting more reps to hopefully give Tomlin more info on who to keep next year and who to let go. It's never a good thing seeing starters and their backups go down but at this any silver lining is worth exploring..LOL

So what happened... Did the Chiefs let him go because I thought he had signed with the Chiefs late in the season? :dunno: I could wrong though :)
