Let me know what happens DIESEL... I'm not getting it. I'm watching UFC Ultimate Fighter Finale instead.

lucky you lol.........i went to my friends and we were watching both until mayweather came out, ****ing gay that his fight and huerta's fight came on at the exact same time, and pretty funny that michael buffer and bruce buffer were talking at the exact same time lol.........btw, hureta vs guida, fight of the night

this fight was decent, i hate mayweather so i didn't like that he won, but that was some funny **** on the first knock down in the 10th by floyd, when hatton fell in to the ring post face first, that was some funny ****

i don't think it was worth 50 bucks, the undercards were boring from the little i saw......that first fight was funny, when cherry knocked out that dude, punched him and he just fell straight down on his back, it made me laugh for some reason lol

over all

First off fck MMA, it's for people with short attention spans. Besides in MMA its better to be lucky than good.

I watched the Mayweather Hatton fight in England, and I have to say I thought it was one of the better fights I have seen in some time. Hatton is a tough ****er and I really think they will fight again, probably around June-ish.

Hatton did get his head knocked the **** off though, all in all it was an entertaining fight, and even the undercards were worth the $50.

come on...you and I both have siad dumber things. It just seems to me that there are no dominant fighters in MMA, everyone has blemishes, which is a good thing if you are into MMA, but it won't becomse bigger than boxing until someone dominates it for a few years.

I'm in Spokane now. We just stayed in England on the way home. **** the Pats.

it's already bigger than boxing......sorry to say, boxing is dead, and now that mayweather is afraid to fight cotto, it's gonna stay dead cause there is no big name fighters anymore......... and ppl dominating a sport sucks, at least with mma it's like football any given sunday...... it's fun watching a fight and not knowing who's gonna win, like this mayweather fight, it was obvious from the day the fight was announced mayweather was gonna win so when i watched i was bored, yeah it was a good fight, but it bored me knowing what outcome would be......... but the main event for the ultimate fighter finale between roger huerta (my second favorite fighter) vs clay guida, it wasn't obvious and that fight was back and forth until the first minute of the 3rd when huerta rocked guida and then got him in a rear naked choke hold, that fight was exciting........but if boxing floats your boat then so be it

UFC's 10 live PPV's last year did $40 million dollars total. Mayweather is expected to make $20 million just from his cut of the PPV money from his fight against Hatton. I think I read Hatton will make about $ 10 million, and they are expecting $80 million from PPV buys alone.

So the biggest fight of the year (which was LIVE) doubled all 10 of UFC's LIVE events from last year, as far as money made, and the entertainment factor was huge.

If I want to watch two rich kids "beat each other up" I'll go to a local private school and key some Mercedes. MMA was a lot better before it started attracting every rich kid who didn't have the athletic ability to play lacrosse, now it's just a bunch of dudes who think their parents didn't love them enough .

Koopa
12-10-2007, 09:42 PM
well of course they are gonna get more money with one fight because ppl cause a lot of ppl don't buy all of them so they save their money and buy the one good fight a year

mma is still more popular now....and put any mma fighter up against a boxer and the mma fighter will kill them..........rampage jackson would **** up any boxer......roger huerta would **** up mayweather

I dunno who huerta is, but of course Jackson would whoop Floyd, he outweighs him by a good 30 pounds, but if you put 4 oz gloves on Mayweather, there would be a good chance of him breaking Jacksons face. Like I said, better lucky than good in MMA.

i know rampage is bigger that's why i didn't say he'd be floyd cause they don't match up weight wise so that's not a realistic fight.......... huerta is the first ufc fighter to make it on the cover of sports illustrated, and he's about as big as floyd........ and rampage has been hit in the face by far superior punchers than floyd, so floyd wouldn't even stun rampage.......... maybe knock outs are more luck, but there is a lot of skill needed to be an MMA fighter, all you do in boxing is punch run around block and hug.......you got to know submission, need to know how to defend them, you got to know way more **** to be a good mma fighter

Any MMA fighter would get their *** beat in the ring....anyone who thinks otherwise needs to be slapped lol. Same thing can be said the other way.

No way is MMA more popular than boxing....any major boxing match would do more numbers than UFC could in two years combined lol. That tells you all you need to know about the two sports.

MMA has barely started to come on strong...Boxing has been strong since your grandparents grandparents were born lol.

No ****. You act like that means jack **** lol. Fact is someone who specializes in one thing would dominate someone who doesn't 9 times out of 10. Yeah they would mess them up in a MMA fight.....then get jacked up in a boxing match.

RW318

No. You can't just have power to win in a boxing match. 99% of MMA fighters couldn't defend like an elite boxer could...so comparing what they do to other MMA fighters doesn't matter. Not to mention the Fatigue factor.....

Lidell in his prime would beat any boxer in an MMA match, yes, but in a boxing match now way. A striker and a boxer are two different things. Same thing with Kimbo Slice. He is a fighter not a boxer, and in a boxing match 9 times outta 10 the boxer beats the fighter.
