View Full Version : Sean Taylor Shot
Sean Taylor of the Washington Redskins was shot and wounded overnight by an intruder at his home in South Miami Dade.
Taylor, a former University of Miami star, was airlifted to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Details were sketchy about the shooting.The Miami Herald reported that Miami-Dade patrol officers received a call about 1:45 a.m. Monday that a homeowner had been shot in the leg.
The homeowners told police he heard intruders at the rear door of the house, trying to pry it open.

Its been awhile since someone has been shot or killed in the NFL. This sucks...prayers out to his family, hope he is doing better.

They just showed his house on ESPN and it looked like a warehouse.

wow i heard on the news that the bullet hit an artery, he's n criticle condition, man that sucks i hope he's alright, we all should just send up prayers 4 him an his family............................

the bullet did hit the femural (sp?) artery, as of last report, they got it repaired but he was still in critical . Apparently happened during a break in, a home invasion type. Reports are saying that it he has had security problems at the house before and recently.
No one deserves this, not an athlete, an engineer or a laborer. You should be safe in your own house.
My family's prayers are with Mr Taylor and his family.

They just did a update on ESPN, he just came out of a 6 hour surgery. Doctors are cautiously optimistic, he is conscious and is able to squeeze the doc's hand. :pray:
This is awful... my thoughts are with him and his family.
