Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has a bruised right hip, but he should be ready to play against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, coach Mike Tomlin said today.

Roethlisberger could take things a little easy in practice when the Steelers resume work Wednesday.

Tomlin said defensive end Aaron Smith also could return to start against the Browns. Smith, who missed the past two games with a sprained knee, will work in practice on a limited basis Wednesday.

Fullback Dan Kreider, who started his third straight game Monday night, has a concussion and "should be fine," Tomlin said. Backup linebacker Clint Kriewaldt, a key member of the special teams, has a bruised calf and Tomlin said he would guess he's questionable this week.

Halfback Willie Parker has slight swelling in a knee that Tomlin does not expect will limit his play against the Browns. Backup tight end Jerame Tuman still has a disc problem in his back and is questionable "at best," according to the coach.

That was a scary moment to see Ben on the ground last night for so long. There was no way he should have come back into the game, to me it seemed more like a psychological thing for Ben to show the rats that they can't keep him down.

It's good to see Aaron Smith getting back, we need him back to help the DL because rotating 5 lineman is a lot harder than rotating 6.

Yep, all in all we came out pretty good. Ben said his was a hip pointer. Those feel like electrocution when they happen. My man bounced right back, silenced the doubters, not just the Raisins, but all future opponents.Sent a message. Stopped any questions about if he was going to be ok.
Total gamer.

At first I couldn't tell what was wrong and I thought he just got the wind knocked out of him but then watching it closer you could see he feel right square on his hip.

Glad to see Aaron Smith coming back, he is solid on the end and was a beast before he went down.......... teams have been running to the right (or left) however you look at it) and have somewhat success doing it........ well at least watson did
