View Full Version : Graphics Question...
Ok
I currently use Macromedia Firefox MX to design graphics.
The problem is I'm looking for something else to use.
It's a good program but it's kinda limited in functions, and design work.
The Question I have is what programs should I be looking for?
I know about photoshop, but what else if any is out there?
What I intend to use it for: Avatar, animation, Sigs; Wall papers; Website designs; ect...
Any help would be great.

I'm the same as BR7. Photoshop is the way to go.

Yeah PS is the way to go. It's the original and the best IMO.
Adobe Photoshop CS3 is they way to go huh!
Sounds good to me.

You could even go with CS2. It might be cheaper, but not sure.
I've been reading about CS3 (when it first came out) and heard it was real buggy.. not necisarily Photoshop, but the the entire suite. I dunno how photoshop is different from CS2 to CS3.. I'm sure I can 'find' a copy to test :D
CS3 Specs (http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/photoshopextended/upgrade/)
The only thing I like that I've read is..
Streamlined interface and palette management
2D and 3D measurement tools
Those alone might make me want to try harder to 'find' a copy :D

Well I finally got Photoshop CS2. This is my first sig using it made it for a friend.
.
It's going to take me awhile to get used to it, and how to use all the functions of it.
