Steeler Addicts had the privilage of sitting down with one of their dedicated members who took it his dedication to not only the Pittsburgh Steelers but also to Steeler Addicts to a whole new level! BlitzburghNation has taken his everyday work/"home on the road" truck and started to transform it into a Steeler shrine that he says is not yet complete. SA wanted to talk to him and find out more about him and his truck and to thank him for the traveling billboard for Steeler Addicts!

Steeler Addicts (SA): Tell us about your Truck.
BlitzburghNation (BN): Well I leased it for 4 yrs and now it's mine & the banks "only" have 2 yrs left. My future plans are to someday have my truck & trailer all in STEELER colors "I'm hoping by the year 2010, it will be finished"

SA: Where all have you been with your truck?
BN: You name it... every city in the U.S.A. and every state more than once and I've driven over 2 million miles! I've also been to western Canada.

SA: Tell us about Yourself and your Family.
BN: I'm 44 yrs old and have been married to Brenda, aka 'Pie', for 14 yrs and I have a daughter by my 1st wife and she's 20 now, going to college, while working at super 8 motel. Been a STEELER fan since summer of '74 when I first goy into sports and I try to make at least one game a year... One thing about I never do is, "boo my team or put down my players" the way I look at it, these guys give it there all and the guys they face do the same. Something I do that is unique... I wear my steeler shirts everyday of the year and I'm always stopped at truck stops by people wanting to talk football.

SA: What are your future plans for yourself and your truck?
BN: If all goes the way I'm planning, by the time I'm 50 I'll be semi-retired. Will have everything payed off and be a lounge driver...

SA: What kind of reactions have you had from people about your truck?
BN: Had a guy driving on interstate beside me and noticed he was taking a picture of my truck. Also, a place in Texas where I get loads there are 2 huge steeler fans that has taken pictures of the truck and we jam about our team. Since I put this huge decal on my truck, it's been amazing the number of fans that has taken pics at the fuel islands, truck washes, customers everywhere! I didn't put it on to get noticed, I put it on to show my love for my team and when people see me coming they'll know where my loyalties lie!
