Just confirmed today, Steelers Running Back Rashard Mendenhall has a torn ligament in his knee and is gone for the remainder of the post season.
The injury was sustained on a play were Rashard was not hit, but rather tried to stop and cut near the sidelines when his right knee buckled and gave out. He spent a few minutes on the sidelines before going into the locker room with the Steelers trainers.
The ground game will be fueled by Isaac Redman and Jonathan Clay for the rest of the post season. Mewelde Moore has missed the last 2 games with a sprained MCL and his status is still uncertain.
